Double Check Valve

This week we prevented contamination by installing a double check valve. Alot of plumbers don't recognise the importance of installing double check valves. As plumbers we need to always abide by 'Water Fitting Regulations 1999'. The double check valve prevents contamination into mains water. This customers old plumbers did not fit the valve and caused the customer a big problem. They were now instructed by the Thames water to have it fitted. Something simple like this can prevent a catastrophic contamination which could affect alot of peoples lives.
